*10* MASSACRE on Texas Tech.
The Oklahoma State Cowboys are one of the bottom feeders of the BIG-12, and yet they are a favorite against a very competitive Texas Tech team Saturday. The Red Raiders should be able to beat this Oklahoma State team that is just 3-10 in conference play. My money is on the visitors.
Here are my keys to the game:
1. Previous History - The Red Raiders have been a good bet when playing inferior opposition. They are 7-3 ATS in their last 10 games against teams with a losing record. The Cowboys on the other hand have failed to cover in four straight against teams with a winning record.
2. Three-Point Shooting - The Red Raiders have been red hot from beyond the arc, hitting 41.5 percent of their three points attempts over their last five games. They hit 9-of-16 (.563) in a win at Baylor last Saturday. Junior forward Aaron Ross is 13-for-25 (.500) over his last five games.
3. X-Factor - The Cowboys have averaged just 60.2 points on 38.4 percent shooting over their last five games.
Selection: This is a play on the Texas Tech Red Raiders (10*)
