*8* SPECIAL on LSU.
The LSU Tigers and the Florida Gators will meet in Baton Rouge Saturday, and one of these struggling teams is destined to get back on track. Chances are it will be the home team, and neither of these teams have inspired much confidence on the road. My money is on the Tigers as a short favorite.
Here are my keys to the game:
1. Previous History - After sweeping the series last year, the Tigers lost at Florida this January. It was a close game though, with Florida winning 68-62. The Gators have failed to cover in four of their last five visits to Baton Rouge.
2. Ben Simmons - The Freshman phenom scored 23 points on 6-of-9 shooting in a loss at Arkansas on Tuesday. He will be counted on to provide offense at home tonight, and Florida couldn't stop him in the last meeting, as he totaled 28 points on 7-of-15 shooting at Florida.
3. X-Factor - Florida is really struggling offensively of late, averaging just 66.4 points on 37.7 percent shooting over their last five games.
Selection: This is a play on the LSU Tigers (8*)
