The Golden State Warriors were handed their mere sixth defeat of the season when the LA Lakers pulled the upset of the season with a 112-95 trouncing of the Warriors last night. They have an opportunity to get back to their winning ways the next day with a match-up against the Orlando Magic home at Oracle Arena, and I expect the Warriors to bounce back in style.
Here are my keys to the game:
1. Warriors Of A Loss - Images of a tear eyed Steph Curry on the Warriors bench have made the loops in the social media as last season's MVP couldn't believe what was happening last night. Curry and the rest of the Warriors are winners though, and winners rise through adversity. Golden State is 15-5 ATS in their last 20 games following a ATS loss and it will be adamant to make a statement following last night's defeat.
2. Days Of Rest - Playing on back-to-back nights is not something that tend to bother Golden State which is 20-7-1 ATS in its last 28 games playing on 0 days rest. Orlando has not played since a 102-84 home loss against Phoenix Friday and is 2-6 ATS in its last eight games playing on two days rest.
3. X-Factor - The Warriors defeated the Magic 130-114 at Orlando on Feb. 25 behind 51 points from Curry.
Selection: This is a play on the Golden State Warriors (10*)
