Aaron Judge and the Yanks demolished the Brewers, but now they run into a real pitcher here in Corbin Burnes, who is looking to make a statement in his first game for his new team. Burnes was 15-9 with a 2.92 ERA in 32 starts for Baltimore last year. He finished 3-0 with a 5.06 ERA in six spring starts, but over that span, he posted 22 K's and just two walks. Judge is also 0-for-7 off Burnes lifetime. Additionally note, while 0-2 in three starts vs. New York, Burnes owns a tiny 1.42 ERA in that span, which includes eight no-hit innings here in New York back in September 2023. The home side counters with Will Warren, who was 4-1 with a 5.09 ERA in seven spring starts. Warren is being pressed into starting service due to a slew of injuries to the Yanks' starting line-up. He was 0-3 with a 10.32 ERA in six appearances last year. It's been a great start for New York, but all good things have to come to an end. Considering the talent discrepancy between these two starters, I feel we're getting fantastic line value here on the visitors. D-Backs roll!
