My 10* NL DOG OF THE MONTH is on the Philadelphia Phillies at 6:45 EST. It honestly wouldn't be too difficult to write a convincing argument for either team to win here obviously, but I say the conditions are definitely correct for the Phillies here to pull off the slight home upset agains the undefeated Dodgers. Note that Philadelphia is 7-3 the last ten in this series. LA does come to town 8-0 and will hand the ball to Yoshinubu Yamamoto, who is already 1-0 with a 1.10 ERA over two starts (10 innings pitched) this season. It's almost impossible to say anything negative about the Dodgers, other than 1B Freddie Freeman has been listed as questionable with an ankle injury. Philadelphia though will be eager to hand the Dodgers their first "L." Philly is 5-1 and it hands the ball to Jesus Luzardo, who looked sharp in his first outing, allowing two runs and striking out 11 over five innings vs. the Nationals. Philadelphia comes in healthy to this one as well. LA has played some decent teams, but this will be its toughest series yet. I say the home field advantage proves to be big here for Luzardo in the opener. All things considered, I think fantastic line value on Philadelphia. Grab the plus-money return here, Phillies roll!
