My 8* PITCHING MISMATCH is on the Arizona Diamondbacks at 8:10 EST. After dropping the opener of this series by a score of 7-0 last night, I think that the Diamondbacks will bounce back and find a way to get the job done here with Corbin Burnes getting the start, and because of that, I have no issues laying some chalk. Chad Patrick (1-0, 2.45 ERA) gets the starting call for the Brewers and he's clearly exceeded expectations to this piont over his first two starts. Patrick's spot in the starting rotation though is tentative and regression feels imminent here at this difficult road venue. Burnes (0-1, 5.79), gave up four runs and four walks with three K's over five innings in a loss to the Nationals in his last outing. Burnes has gotten out to a slow start so far, but will be leaned upon heavily this season to eat up innings strike-out batters. So far he has a ho-hum 11/7 K/BB. I think he responds here though. Lay the price with confidence, Diamondbacks roll!
