The Carolina Hurricanes are still looking for their first win of the season, and are struggling offensively. The visiting Phoenix Coyotes have not been prolific in front of the net either and I don't expect to see many goals in this contest.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. Situational/Motivational - With the Canes 0-6, you can bet they'll be giving 110% tonight, throwing everything but the kitchen sink at the visitors and giving it all to help out their own goalie. Arizona is playing it's third game of a four game road trip, and they've lost all four of their away games so far scoring only seven goals.

2. Injuries - You can't read too much into the Canes 0-6 record, as they have been without a handful of key players. They will be more competitive with the return of Eric Staal and Nathan Gerbe but perhaps the pair need a couple of games before they are going at top capacity.

3. X-Factor - The Coyotes lost Radim Vrbata in the off-season, and he's now lighting it up for the Vancouver Canucks. Arizona has very little when it comes to talented forwards, and their leading scorer is defenseman Keith Yande.
