These starters are a "wash." I could easily write a convincing argument for either of these starters to win this game. Max Fried went undefeated last year. Aaron Nola is making his fourth straight Opening Day appearance for the Phillies. The difference though for me comes in Atlanta's strong bullpen and its hitting line-up. Philly is just 7-20 in its last 27 as an underdog, while ATL is 13-6 in its last 19 on the road. Philly's bullpen was dead last in the major last year with a 7.06 ERA. Great value on perhaps the best team in baseball on opening day; play the Braves!
