T.M. Selection: Vanderbilt.

I like Vanderbilt to cover the spread against Stanford in this game on Saturday. Vanderbilt was in a rough patch over a week ago but they have looked much better in their games lately. They have won 3 games in a row and 2 of those wins were by 10+ points. I think they will play hard in this game since they get to be at home on Christmas Day for this game. Stanford has looked alright in their games lately winning 2 games in a row but both of those wins were by 3 points and they were at home for both of those games. They are going to be on the road here with hostile fans against them and they have really struggled on the road this year. They have not won a game on the road and they are 0-3 in those games. I think Stanford is going to struggle on the road in this game like they have all year and Vanderbilt has been gaining some steam in their games lately. Vanderbilt has held the opposing team under 70 points in their previous 4 games and I expect them to win this game with some good defense too. I think Stanford is already going to struggle on the road here but I also think that they will struggle to score on the defense that Vanderbilt plays. Vanderbilt is the better team here and I think they can get a big win at home on Christmas day in this game and extend their win streak. I like Vanderbilt to cover the spread here.
