T.M. Selection: Colorado Rockies.

I like the Colorado Rockies to win this game against the Detroit Tigers on Friday. The Rockies have looked good in their games lately and they have gotten off to a strong start winning 8/12 games this year already and I think they are going to win another game here over the Tigers who haven't looked great lately. The Rockies just won their most recent series with the Phillies taking 2/3 games and they have been putting up a ton of runs in their games lately. They lost the final game of that series with the Phillies but I think they will bounce back here and get back to their winning ways. The Tigers are not a good team and they already off to another bad start with a losing record through 12 games. They just won their most recent game over the Yankees but the Yankees haven't been hitting the ball well at all lately and the Tigers still lost 2/3 games to them. Antonio Senzatela (1-0, 2.16 ERA) is up for the Rockies here and he is off to a great start this year. He had a bit of a rougher start in his 1st game but I think he looked a lot better in his previous start and only gave up 1 run through 5 innings. I think he will pitch a great game here and both of his 1st 2 starts were at Coors Field which is a hitters park so I'm expecting him to be even better in this game in Detroit. The Tigers have Tarik Skubal (0-1, 3.72 ERA) going in this game and he hasn't had a great start this year. His 1st game was really rough giving up 4 runs in 4 innings to the White Sox who were off to a very hot start. He was much better in his previous start, only giving up 1 run in almost 6 innings and none of them earned but he was also pitching against the Royals and they are another bad team in the league this year. I think he is going to struggle in this game against the Rockies and I expect the Rockies to continue on their hot streak to start the year. I like the Rockies to win this game.
