I like the Baltimore Orioles to win this game against the Chicago Cubs on Tuesday. The Orioles have won 8 games in a row now and are 1 of the hottest teams in baseball. The Cubs have lost 4 games in a row getting swept by the Dodgers over the weekend and they haven't really looked good all year. Jordan Lyles (5-7, 4.50 ERA) is up for the Orioles here and he has looked pretty good in his starts lately. He has had 2 great starts in a row now, only giving up 1 run in each while pitching 6+ innings. He's been striking out a lot of batters too lately and I think he is going to shut down this bad offense while his team stays hot with their bats backing him up with run support here as they have been doing in a lot of their games lately. Adrian Sampson (0-0, 2.91 ERA) is up for the Cubs here and he hasn't had many starts this year but has looked shaky in his previous 2. He has been letting a lot of runners on base lately and just had a start where he gave up 5 unearned runs in less than 6 innings. The Orioles are hot lately and I think they are going to put up runs on Sampson here extending their run. I like the Orioles to win this game.
