T.M. Selection: Miami Hurricanes - Moneyline

1) I like the Miami Hurricanes to win this game against the Florida Gators on Saturday, August 31st. The line is in the -2.5 range and for my money the better value is therefore with the money line in the -135 range.

2) There is some noise in the betting markets that the Canes are again over-hyped which is the only reason I see why this line is so low and I am going to take advantage of the value. In this case, with unreal success in the transfer portal, the hype about Miami is justified!

3) Florida is coming off a disappointing 5-7 season and even with Mertz back at QB they are not going to be able to fix everything right out of the gate here! Their top RB is coming back from knee surgery and is not 100% yet. Florida has a good history at 'The Swamp' with a high percentage of SU wins but I am confident it is no mistake that the odds makers installed Miami as the favorite here. I am laying the price with confidence here.
