This a 5* play on the UNDER between Oregon and California.

Setting the scene: These are two teams that play full out on offense on every snap from start to finish and rarely put much effort onto the defensive side of the ball. However we think these offenses will get stalled just enough for this one to sneak below this sky-high number. Oregon has had a week off after getting crushed 70-21 by Washington, while California also returns off its bye week after falling 47-44 in OT to Oregon State. Last season the Ducks beat the Bears 44-28.

Oregon: The Ducks know they aren't a defensive oriented team, but they'll still be out to atone for the 70 points allowed. Oregon is dealing with a QB controversy, as it would bench starter Dakota Prukop and go with Just Herbert, who finished 21 of 34 for 179 yards and two TD's and one INT. The offense would post 230 yards on the ground.

California: QB Davis Webb threw for a season-low 113 yards with zero TD's and one INT against Oregon State. The run game looked good though, finishing with 317 rushing yards. The offense is ranked 12th in the nation, while the defense is ranked 123rd.

The bottom line: Note that Oregon has seen the total go UNDER the number in seven of its last 11 on the road, while Cal has seen the total go UNDER in eight of its last 14 in front of the home town crowd. Play the UNDER.
