REASONING: We jumped on this line very early and got a favorable one (202) and it's since come down to around 198, but regardless, we think the stage is set for a lower-scoring defensive battle this evening. Detroit comes in off a 109-91 loss to Toronto on Wednesday. The Pistons shot just 41.7 percent and got outrebounded 51-40. Detroit looked "out of sorts" without floor general Reggie Jackson, who is expected to miss at least the first 20 games because of a knee issue. The Magic come to town off a 108-96 loss at home on Opening Night to the Miami Heat. Orlando shot only 38.6 percent from the floor and was outscored 74-36 in the paint, while also losing the rebounding battle 52-44. It's a perfect situational play in our opinion, as clearly these two teams will be looking to atone for lacklustre efforts last time out. Also note that Orlando has seen the total go UNDER the number in in 30 of its last 51 after a loss by ten points or more, while Detroit has seen the total go UNDER the number in four of its last five following a loss by ten points or more.
