This is a 10* TOTAL RED DRAGON on the UNDER between the Detroit Pistons and the Boston Celtics.
REASONING: Both teams are clearly hungry for wins, but at 21-26, this one likely means a little more to the Detroit Pistons. They most recently dropped their second in a row with a 116-103 road loss to Miami on Saturday. The C's are 29-18 and come in off a 112-108 OT win on the road over Milwaukee on Saturday. These teams have played once already this year and Detroit notched the higher-scoring 121-114 win at home back on November 30th. Suffice it to say, we're expecting a much more defensive affair this time around. Detroit ranks just 24th in scoring this year with an average of 100.6 PPG. If the Pistons win, it's usually because of their stout defensive play as they allow just 101.6 PPG, ranked sixth overall. Boston is looking for a fourth straight win. So far the Celtics average 108.1 PPG and allow 105.7. Note though that Detroit has seen the total go UNDER the number in nine of 14 already this year after a loss by ten points or more, while Boston has seen the total go UNDER in four of six in trying to revenge a loss against an oponent and in two of three of an upset win as an underdog.
