This is an 8* O/U BEATDOWN on the UNDER between the Boston Celtics and the Philadelphia 76ers.
We primarily base our Over/Under picks on "situations." Boston is reeling, 0-2 and losing Gordon Hayward for the entire season has the team looking for answers and to Kyrie Irving. So far Irving hasn't been up to the task, as the weight of carrying a sub-par team is starting to take its toll already. And with three whole nights off before a game against New York, it's not too hard to imagine the C's getting caught "looking ahead" to the time off. And for Philadelphia, it opened the year with a high-scoring 120-115 loss at Washington. The 76ers have plenty of raw scoring talent, but they'll also be looking to take a big step forward defensively this year as they try to compete for a lower-seed in the watered down Eastern Conference. Game 1 was a disaster, so it's safe to say Philadelphia should be much more focused on that end of the floor this evening.
