The Yanks are desperate for a win here after 5 straight losses, but I think they'll once again have their hands full on the road tonight in the Pacific Northwest. THe Mariners haven't reached the playoffs since 2001, but they're in the thick of the Wildcard race. Seattle took 2 of 3 from New York in the Bronx last week and I expect them to take care of business at home as well. Seattle split a 4 game series with the Angels over the weekend, but they come in off a victory. Jameson Taillon is 10-2 with a 3.96 ERA for the Yanks, but he just allowed 6 runs over 4 innings in an 8-6 loss to the Mariners last week. Gilbert got rocked for 6 runs over 6 innings in the same game. For all intents and purposes, these starters are a "wash." But in a contest that I see being decided late, or even in extras, I'm going to recommend a second look at the home side on the runline option this evening!
