This is a 10* INTERCONTINENTAL EXPRESS on the OVER between the Carolina Hurricanes and the Calgary Flames.
When you think of these two teams, you don't automatically think of "high-scoring offensive shootouts", however, I believe the conditions are finally right for this total to eclipse the number. Carolina has lost five straight and will be desperate to break the slide. Calgary is coming off a hard-fought OT loss to the Lightning. Both teams are going to be opening it up today as they look to avoid another setback. For me, this is strictly a situational play. No need to overanalyze it, I expect these teams to open it up and for this total to go OVER the number sooner, rather than later.
