This is an 8* PUCK-LINE DESTRUCTION on the Carolina Hurricanes.
Thanks to a scheduling quirk, the Hurricanes have been in Vancouver for a couple days now and I think this winless club comes to play tonight; while the outright win isn't out of the question, in a contest which I believe will be decided late or in extras, I'm going to lay what I feel to be a very reasonable mid-sized price for the extra 1.5 goals of insurance. Also note that the 0-5-1 Canes are expected to have star player Eric Staal back in the lineup tonight, he's been out with injury thus far. I played Vancouver on Sunday, a 4-2 win over Washington, but I feel this is a classic letdown spot for the Canucks who have the Montreal Canadiens coming to town on Thursday. Note that Vancouver is a poor 8-10 (-2.4 units) in its last 18 following a victory by 2 goals or more. Play on CAROLINA on the PUCK LINE.
