This is an 8* O/U EAST-COAST EXPRESS on the UNDER between the Miami Heat and the Milwaukee Bucks.
While both teams have been playing to some higher-scoring affairs of late, I think that the conditions are finally right for a lower-scoring battle and definitely feel that the value lies on the lower number in this one. Milwaukee started the season on a big winning note, but comes into this game looking to end its longest slide of the campaign thus far. During their opening run, the Bucks held their opposition to just 86.7 points and 41.7 percent shooting; since then though they've given up 111.7 points and 49.6 percent shooting in three-straight losses. Perhaps a date vs. the inconsistent Heat is just what the doctor ordered to get untracked as the Bucks would win 91-84 on the road to snap a 10-game skid in the series with Miami back on November 16th. The beleagured Heat can empathize, after a strong start the team has regressed, specifically on the defensive end, allowing an average of 110.8 points and 46.6 from beyond the 3-point line over their last four setbacks. So because of these facts, I am fully expecting both sides to put an added emphasis on the defensive end tonight. Note that Miami has seen the total go UNDER the number in six of its last seven as a road dog of 3 points or less, while Milwaukee has seen it dip below the posted number in four of six this season when playing the role of favorite. In my opinion, all signs do indeed point to the UNDER as the savvy move here.
