Some times I feel it's completely necessary to dissect a game, looking at situational, motivational and strong trend based factors to support my selection, and in others I feel a more "common sense" approach is the best way to handicap a game. That's the case here, I think the Ducks should be a much bigger favorite in this spot after the Predators big 7-6 OT win over the defending champion LA Kings just last night. Anaheim on the other hand hasn't played since a 4-3 win over the Blues on Friday and doesn't play again until Wednesday at home vs. the Rangers (note that the Ducks are a spectacular 14-6 +6.6 units vs. teams with winning records this year). In my opinion, this is pretty good line value on this proven home side winner, consider a second look at ANAHEIM tonight.
