This is a 10* GAME OF THE MONTH on the Oakland Athletics.
I think this is a clear pitching mis-match and the books are slow to recognize, great line value that we can take advantage of today. Kendall Graveman isn't known by many yet, but is poised to make some serious noise for the A's this year, he'd go on to finish his spring with a 3-1 record and an almost non-existent 0.36 ERA, limiting opponents to a .141 batting average in the process. Graveman's counterpart today is 24-year old Nick Martinez who would complete his rookie season with a 5-12 record and a 4.55 ERA in 29 games. Martinez had a pretty decent spring and went 1-1 with a 2.53 ERA in three starts vs. the A's last year, but I think will be in tough today as his team continues to struggle with run support; note that Texas has been outscored 19-3 in the first two games of this series and I don't foresee anything changing this evening. Graveman gets a slight nod on the mound, the A's get a big nod at the plate, making this what I deem to be the very definition of great line value; play on OAKLAND.
