This is a 5* RUN-LINE DESTRUCTION on the Oakland Athletics.
In a contest in which I believe will be decided late or in extra innings, I have no issues whatsoever in laying this price for the extra 1.5 runs of insurance. The visitors send Drew Pomeranz to the hill, he'd post a 2.58 ERA in ten starts last year and would give up two hits over seven frames without a walk and six K's in his season opening 12-0 win over the M's on Friday. The A's have been giving their pitchers plenty of support, the team averages 6.1 runs per game so far this year. In fact, six of the A's nine starters are hitting better than .300 on the year. The home side counters with Collin McHugh, who gave up one run over six innings in his team's 5-1 win over Texas to improve to 8-0 with a 1.75 ERA over his last 11 starts. Unlike the A's though, the Astros are still struggling with consistency at the plate, they're hitting just 5 for 48 with runners in scoring position this year. Play on the ATHLETICS on the RUN-LINE.
