AAA's 10* National League ASSASSIN!
(MLB) Philadelphia vs. Washington, 04/16/2015 3:05 PM, Score: 2 - 5
Money Line: -129.00 Washington (Home)
Result: Win
This is a 10* ASSASSIN on the Washington Nationals.

The Nats offense has finally started to roll and I expect that momentum to get carried over here, in my opinion this is a clear mismatch and the value is much too good to turn down. Washington has totaled 17 runs and 22 hits over its last two games and now turns to Doug Fister to continue the surge. Fister will be eager to get into the win circle vs. the Phillies today, he's 0-2 in his last three starts vs. them despite posting a very respectable 2.84 ERA. And a date at home is just what the doctor ordered for Fister who was 8-2 with a tiny 1.72 ERA in 11 games there last year. The visitors counter with Cole Hamels (0-1, 3.75 ERA) who has been backed by just 1.71 runs per outing over his last seven starts, dating back to last season. And unfortunately for Hamels, unlike the Nationals, the Phillies continue to struggled at the plate, they're just 5 for 38 (.132) with runners in scoring position during a four-game slide. When I look at this game, I look at the three things: the starting pitchers, recent performance for the starting line-ups at the plate, and the line. Today I'm giving Fister the slight nod on the bump, the Nationals the big nod at the plate and feel that we're absolutely getting great line value on the home side today; play on WASHINGTON.
