As with most of my Over/Under selections at this time of year, I feel this is a great situational play and note that it's also backed by some pretty strong O/U trends. It's literally do-or-die for Ottawa tonight, another loss and the team will be golfing by the weekend. After a 4-3 Habs win in Game 1, these teams have played a much more defensive style since, Montreal would win Game 2, 3-2 in OT and Game 2, 2-1 in the extra frame as well. An extra bounce here or there though and the Senators could easily have a 2-1 series lead at this point. The fourth game is always the hardest to win in a seven-game series and I am definitely expecting that to be the case tonight. With players risking life and limb getting into shooting and passing lanes for both sides, all signs do indeed once again point to another classic, low-scoring playoff defensive battle. Also note that Montreal has seen the total go UNDER the number in ten of 17 this year after a three game unbeaten streak, while Ottawa has seen the total dip below the posted number in five of eight this season when playing with two days of rest. Consider a second look at the UNDER in Game 4 between the Habs and Senators.
