This is a 6* BIG-CHALK CHOKE-OUT on the LA Dodgers.
These two hurlers faced off against each other just last week in San Francisco and Madison Bumgarner and the Giants would come out on top. With the shift in venue, I expect the reigning No. 1 NL Cy Young award winner to return to form here and to find a way to get the job done at the end of the night. Kershaw is 1-1 with a 4.07 ERA so far this year and gave up two runs and three hits over six inning with nine K's vs. San Fran and has struck out 21 batters over his last two starts. And note that Kershaw is 14-5 with a tiny 1.48 ERA in 27 lifetime meetings vs. the Giants, going 7-1 in his last 11 matchups. Bumgarner is 1-1 with a 4.63 ERA and gave up two runs Wednesday; note that he's 11-5 with a 2.56 ERA in 18 games vs. the Dodgers, but opponents are hitting .295 collectively off him thus far. I'm giving the slight nod to Kershaw on the bump tonight, and that's going to be more than enough to tip the scales in favor of the DODGERS in my opinion.
