This is an 8* TOTAL BLOCKBUSTER on the OVER between the San Antonio Spurs and the LA Clippers.
For a number of different reasons I expect this total to eclipse the posted number as the game comes down the stretch. This has been an extremely competitive series, with each team winning on the road twice. This is obviously a massive game for the Clippers as they desperately try to get over the hump, it's safe to say that they'll be pushing the pace of this one from the outset and clearly the Spurs will need to keep pace. A faster paced game = more shots and more shots = more points. Both teams are dealing with injury and consistency issues, but from an O/U trend based stand point, this selection is about as strong as you could possibly ask for as note that San Antonio has seen the total go OVER the posted number in eight of its last 12 when tied in a playoff series, while LA has seen the total sail above the posted number in five of its last eight in the same position. I think the focus and determination that each team plays with tonight will translate into production on the court, in my opinion, all signs do indeed point to the OVER as the savvy move in this contest.
