The Yanks hand the ball to CC Sabathia (3-7, 5.65 ERA) who would give up six runs off eight hits over 4 2/3's innings in a no-decision vs. the Phillies on Tuesday. It's been a poor season so far for the veteran who is just 2-4 with a pedestrian 4.19 ERA on the road thus far. The home side counters with CJ Wilson (5-6, 3.92 ERA) who was shelled for seven runs in a 13-3 loss to the Astros on Tuesday; note that Wilson owns a poor 4.44 ERA in front of the home town crowd. Recent performance always plays a part in my MLB handicapping process and with each starter struggling coming in, I think the OVER is definitely worthy of a second glance.
