This is a 10* TOTAL ART OF WAR on the UNDER between the Milwaukee Brewers and the Philadelphia Phillies.
Neither of these starters has had a very good first half, but I think the conditions are now finally right for a duel as I expect this total to fall UNDER the posted number once the smoke clears at the end of the night. The visitors hand the ball to Jimmy Nelson (4-8, 4.34 ERA) who would strike out five Mets in his team's 4-1 win on Wednesday night; note that Nelson would go eight innings, marking the third time he's done so this year. It was a big turnaround after a tough two-start stretch and he'll now look to improve his very respectable 3.52 ERA in all "night" games this season. The home side counters with Sean O'Sullivan (1-5, 5.34 ERA) who is coming off an outing to forget in which he gave up six runs off ten hits; O'Sullivan though has been better than average when throwing in front of the home town crowed this season by posting a 3.48 ERA to date. Most bettors will only look at these starters ERA and make a quick snap judgement, a mistake in my opinion in this case as there is some room to read between the lines in both of their performances of late; in my opinion, this number is just a little high, play on the UNDER.
