The visitors hand the ball to Kyle Gibson (8-9, 3.99 ERA) who was shelled for six runs off four hits over five innings in an 8-7 loss to the Yankees on Monday. Gibson continues to struggle down the stretch, he's now winless in his last six starts and note that he's been particularly inept in this spot for bettors all season, going a poor 3-5 with a ballooned 5.05 ERA in road contests thus far. The home side counters with Chris Tillman (9-7, 4.54 ERA) who has been trading good starts with bad of late, last Monday he looked decent in giving up just two solo shots in a 4-2 win over the A's. Tillman has been pretty mediocre in this position this year though, just 5-4 with a pedestrian 4.34 ERA in front of the home town crowd thus far. With these two volatile starters squaring off, there's no question in our minds that the OVER does indeed become a very legitimate investment opportunity.
