The visitors hand the ball to Jake Odorizzi (6-6, 3.02 ERA) who gave up one run over six innings vs. the Astros on Tuesday, unfortunate to take a no-decision for the fine effort. For the most part Odorrizi has been as consistent as the inconsistent Rays could ask for this season, note that he owns a highly respectable 3.00 ERA in all "night" games. The home side counters with Sonny Gray (12-5, 2.04 ERA) who gave up just one earned run in Monday's start vs. Baltimore, ultimately allowing four runs off seven hits over 5 2/3's innings in the setback. Gray though has to be feeling pretty confident that he can bounce back here as he's posted a tiny 2.50 ERA in front of the home town crowd this season. We're expecting these two competent hurlers to battle into the latter frames and that does indeed make the UNDER a very legitimate investment opportunity in this one.
