This is an 8* BLOCKBUSTER on Oregon State.

We played on Michigan in Week 1 and while we don't normally like to "flip-flop" on a team from week to week, we feel that the situational and trend based factors working in favor of the visitors today are too great to turn down. Wolverines' QB Jake Rudock threw three INT's and overthrew two potential TD's in last week's season-opening setback to Utah. Rudock though is not entirely to blame, his offensive line was man-handled by the Utes, leaving the running game and Michigan's pivot to suffer the consequences, the result was just 76 total rushing yards for the Wolverines. Michigan seemed to get gassed with the up-tempo style of offense the the Utes ran, look for Oregon State to run a similar type of hurry up system with versatile QB Seth Collins. The Beavers may be the youngest team in the Pac-12 and the ninth-youngest in the nation, but if history is any precedence, then Oregon State has to be loving its chances today as it's won three straight road openers, beating UCLA (2012), Utah (2013) and Hawaii (2014); one player to keep your eyes on today for the visitors is RB Storm Barrs-Woods, who is on the cusp of becoming the second player in the history of the program to gain over 2,000 rushing and 1,000 receiving yards in his career. The spotlight and the pressure is fully on Michigan, on its head coach Jim Harbaugh and on struggling QB Jake Rudock and we feel that the Beavers can take advantage here and comfortably sneak in through the backdoor down the stretch; also note that Oregon State is 6-5 ATS in its last 11 on the road, while Michigan is just 7-9 ATS in its last 16 when playing the role of favorite.
