Denver is 2-0 SU/ATS after holding on for a 31-24 win at rival Kansas City last week, but we're expecting the Broncos to stumble here vs. this desperate Detroit team which has opened 0-2 SU/ATS, back-to-back tough road contests in San Diego and Minnesota respectively. It's do-or-die for the Lions, only a very small percentage of teams that have opened the season at 0-3 even go on to make the playoffs, another setback and Detroit will amazingly already have to start looking ahead to next season. And with a game at Seattle next week and then at home vs. the dangerous Cardinals, somehow finding a way to pull off the upset tonight becomes paramount for the hungry home side. Note that Denver is 0-2 ATS in its last two "dome games," only 4-8 ATS in its last 12 off a win vs. a division rival and just 6-11 ATS in its last 17 after two or more consecutive straight up wins. And note that Detroit is 2-0 ATS in its last two off a loss vs. a division rival. Grab as many points as you can with DETROIT.
