This is a 10* TOTAL OF THE WEEK on the OVER between Washington and USC.
The Huskies will have to open up the playbook today if they have any shot at keeping up to the high-flying Trojans, suffice it to say when the smoke clears at the end of this one, we're expecting this total to fly above the posted number. Even considering the loss to surging Stanford, USC is playing well so far this year led by the above average play of QB Cody Kessler, who of course benefits greatly from having a ton of different nation-leading weapons at his disposal, including Juju Smith-Schuster to Adoree Jackson to Ronald Jones II to Justin Davis. The Huskies have looked good defensively to this point, but now face their stiffest test of the season obviously. Washington's weakness is on offense, but as noted, this team is going to have to be aggressive and take some shots today, note that from an O/U trend based standpoint, this play is about as strong as you could possibly ask for as the Huskies have seen the total go OVER the number in six of their last 11 on the road, while USC has seen the total eclipse the posted number in 12 of its last 20 when playing the role of favorite. All signs do indeed point to the OVER as the savvy move in this contest.
