This is a 10* TOTAL BLOWOUT on the OVER between Northwestern and Michigan.
Two of the nation's top defensive teams collide on Saturday afternoon and while neither has been lighting up the scoreboard this season, we feel the conditions are now finally right for a bit of a shootout and look for this total to eclipse the posted number as the game comes down the stretch. Northwestern is coming off a 27-0 win over a desperate Minnesota team and will be eager to keep the momentum rolling. Michigan also has a big chance this season, this is the first of three home games in the next four and with a date vs. Michigan State on the horizon, the Wolverines will definitely be opening up the playbook today to secure the victory. These teams play an incredibly similar game on both sides of the ball, but note that each has played to the higher number in this spot a lot over the last two years, as Northwestern has seen the total sail above the posted number in six of its last 11 on the road, while Michigan has seen it go OVER in four of its last seven as a favorite in the 3.5 to 10 points range.
