This is a 10* TOTAL OF THE WEEK on the OVER between the Dallas Mavericks and the Oklahoma City Thunder.
It's basically do-or-die for the Mavericks, a 2-0 hole will almost assuredly be too much to climb out of despite heading back home for three games. Game 1 was a disaster for Dallas, which will be without the services of JJ Barea after he injured his groin. OKC jumped out to a 59-33 half time lead on its way to a 108-70 rout. The Mavericks have lost all five meetings with the Thunder this year, allowing an average of 111.6 points on 48.4 percent shooting. OKC will be looking for a repeat performance with all of its key players posting huge numbers in Game 1. The Thunder also domianted the glass with a 56-33 advantage. Not only was it the fewest points that OKC has ever given up in a playoff game in franchise history, it was also the least amount of points scored by the Mavericks in a playoff game in their history. Suffice it to say, we don't see a repeat of those historically good and bad performances happening together at the same time again tonight. The writing is on the wall and a higher-scoring shootout is in the cards, play on the OVER.
