This is a 10* TOTAL ART OF WAR on the OVER between the Houston Astros and the Toronto Blue Jays.
So far all three games of this series have fallen UNDER the number. Suffice it to say, we're finally expecting some offensive fireworks in the finale. A couple of hot starters go head to head in this one. Toronto sends JA Happ (14-3, 3.16 ERA), whose 14 victories represent a career best. Happ was solid in July and for the most part has been the best pitcher in the Jays' rotation this season. Note that he owns a 3.81 ERA in all night games this year. The home side counters with Mike Fiers (7-4, 4.42) who also comes in off s strong performance, holding the Tigers to just one earned run over 6.1 innings. Fiers also had a good July, but if the veteran has had one weakness this year, it's clearly been his play in all "night" contests, where he's just 2-4 with a pedestrian 4.61 ERA. After three straight UNDERS, we're banking on these explosive line-ups to be the main story-line in tomorrow's summaries, play on the OVER.
