This is an 8* TOTAL ART OF THE GAME on the UNDER between Wyoming and Eastern Michigan.
Setting the scene: Both teams come into this one sitting at 2-1 straight up. Last week the Cowboys hammered FCS program UC Davis 45-22, while Eastern Michigan handled Charlotte 37-19. When these teams played against each other last year (the only other time they've met), EMU won 48-29. We think we'll see a much more defensive affair this time around though.
Wyoming: The Cowboys would post 472 yards of total offense last week, QB Josh Allen was 11 of 15 for 198 yards and three touchdowns with no interceptions. Brian Hill had a huge night though, finishing with 207 yards and two major scores off 25 rush attempts. We can expect to see a heavy dose of Hill again tonight.
Eastern Michigan: After getting crushed by Missouri the week before, the Eagles would domiante Charlotte in every respect last week. Note though that EMU would only win the yardage batle 357-346.
The bottom line: Note that Wyoming has seen the total go UNDER the number in three of its last four as a favorite, while Eastern Michigan has seen the total dip below the posted number in three of its last four when playing with six or less days rest. We're expecting these strong UNDER trends to continue tonight.
