This is an 8* TOTAL DESTRUCTION on the OVER between the Toronto Blue Jays and the Cleveland Indians.

Setting the scene: The Jays swept the Rangers and the Indians swept the Red Sox behind some suprisingly great pitching. These were a couple of the hardest-hitting teams in the regular season and we're expecting just enough production for this one to sneak above what we feel to be a low number.

The Blue Jays: Marco Estrada gets the call tonight and he looked great in his Game 1 win over Texas, allowing one earned run over 8.1 innings of work. Estrada jumped out to a great start to the 2016 campaign, but faltered down the stretch of the regular season. Does the nine year veteran have consecutive gems in him?

The Indians: Like Estrada, Corey Kluber looked dominant in his opening matchup, going seven scoreless. Kluber got off to a shaky start to the season, but turned things around and finished strong. Note though that he was just 3-7 with a pedestrian 3.97 ERA in front of the home town crowd this year.

The bottom line: Note that Toronto has seen the total go OVER the number in eight of its last 12 playoff games, while Cleveland has seen the total go OVER in 13 of 21 this year as a home fav in the -125 to -150 range. We're expecting regression from each of these starters and look for these potent line-ups to take full advantage, play the OVER.
