Even with a pitching matchup of Yu Darvish versus Max Scherzer, everything must be just about perfect to go Under a total this low. I don't see that happening in this matchup.

Darvish has been bad on the road with a 5.25 away ERA. The Mets are fifth in the majors in runs and sixth in batting average.

Scherzer is having another strong season with a 6-1 record and 2.22 ERA. The Padres, though, are much better offensively away from Petco Park. San Diego has the fourth-highest road batting average. The Padres also rank fifth in road on-base percentage and eighth in slugging percentage.

Neither team has an elite bullpen either. The Mets relievers are slightly above average while the Padres' bullpen is middle-of-the-road.
