After outscoring opponents 10-1 in back to back home wins, I think the Florida Panthers are due for a let down. They will take their show on the road, visiting a Buffalo Sabres team that has won three of it's last four overall. With the playoffs already out of reach for both teams, I expect the home side to be far more motivated to give the fans something to cheer about. The Sabres boast a solid winning record at home, and the also own the league's most efficient power play converting on nearly a quarter of their man advantage opportunities. Buffalo's leading scorer Jack Eichel scored a pair of goals in Saturday's win over Toronto, and Ryan O'Reilly and Evander Kane also bulged the twine. Florida is missing some key contributors, with starting goaltender Roberto Luongo, veteran forward Jaromir and top defenseman Aaron Ekblad all on the shelf with injuries. That's likely a big reason why the Panthers have lost four of their last five road games, and 11 of their last 16 overall.
