The Habs will host New York in Game 1 of this first round series, and this is a chance to execute revenge. The last time these two teams met in the playoffs, the Rangers took a run at Carey Price, knocking him out of Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals two seasons ago. The Rangers went on to win that series in six games, but most people feel that Montreal would have advanced if it wasn't for the injury to Price. While he hasn't had his best season, he's still considered to be the best goaltender in the world. His supporting cast is much improved, with the addition of veteran defenseman Shea Weber and Russian power forward Alexander Radulov. Montreal owns one of the best home records in the league, and Price was 23-11 with a 2.09 GAA in 37 home starts. The Habs have owned New York lately, winning six of the last seven meetings. With a healthy Price, and home ice advantage, I think Montreal will prove to be too tough for the Rangers.
