Schule's 10* MLB *ULTIMATE of the ULTIMATE* - Game 2 World Series
(MLB) San Francisco vs. Kansas City, 10/22/2014 4:07 PM, Score: 2 - 7
Money Line: 105.00 San Francisco (Away)
Result: Loss
This is a 10* play on the San Francisco Giants.

The Royals Cinderella run was halted by the Giants in Kansas City last night, and they'll have to try to pick up the pieces just 24 hours later. It was their first loss of the post-season, and it could be very difficult to get the magic back. Only one of the last 10 teams to lose Game 1, have come back to win a world series.

All that pressure falls on the shoulders of 23 year old rookie Yordano Ventura. The right-hander hasn't pitched particularly well in the post-season so far, allowing seven runs on 12 hits over 13 innings in three appearances. He won 14 games during the regular season, and eight of those wins came on the road.

The Giants hand the ball to veteran Jake Peavy, who has only allowed a pair of runs on six hits over 9 2/3 innings in two post-season appearances. The 33 year old is no stranger to big games, and he was a member of last year's championship team in Boston.

Last night was the first time in a long time that the Royals didn't get the clutch hits with runners in scoring position. Sometimes when that switch goes off it takes a while to get back into the groove, but if Kansas City can't turn it around tonight, it will be too little too late.

Take SF.
