(NBA) Golden State vs. Portland, 11/02/2014 4:00 PM, Score: 95 - 90
Point Spread: 3.50 | -110.00 Golden State (Away)
Result: Win
This is an 8* play on the Golden State Warriors.

Golden State has opened the season with back to back wins by a combined margin of 41 points. Klay Thompson scored exactly 41 points in a home win over the Lakers last night. It's still early days, but this year's Warriors team looks like it's going to be greatly improved from a year ago. The same can't be said about Portland, as the Blazers are just 1-1, suffering a loss to the Kings in Sacramento.

The Warriors are getting a handful of points, and they've played quite well in recent trips to Portland, covering in six of eight. They won two of the last three outright, and the one loss came by a score of 119-117 in the most recent meeting between the two clubs.

The Blazers may have taken many by surprise last year, something that they might not be able to count on this season:
"We can't be satisfied because we had a good season last year," forward Nicolas Batum said "People want to beat us now. So if we want to be in the same position as last year we've got to come out and be strong and be a good team.

"We've got to come out Sunday. A big team is coming to town, another playoff team, so we need this win."

Take GS.
