The two Pacific division rivals have more than extended losing streaks in common as both teams came up short to the Stars the last time they took the ice. They've both also failed to score with any consistency over recent games but home ice should give the Nucks the advantage here.

The Flames have mustered only eight goals on 5-versus-5 over their seven game skid and if they're hoping to score on the power play instead they better think again. The Nucks have gone 19-for-20 on the penalty kill over their last seven games and their penalty kill unit ranks near the top of the league for the season.

The Canucks are win-less over their last five games but are looking good to end that streak here as they've not lost at home to the Flames since 2011, winning seven straight meetings. They have already defeated the Flames 4-2 in Calgary this season, and anything but to follow that up with a win at home would be highly disappointing.
