The Stars have failed to live up to expectations this season, currently sitting nine points back of the eighth place L.A. Kings who occupy the final playoff spot in the West. The Stars do have three games in hand though, and they come in to Edmonton tonight looking for a fourth consecutive win.

The Oilers have lost 10 of their last 11 in Edmonton, and that cost head coach Dallas Eakins his job. They've lost their last five home meetings with Dallas, getting out-scored 16-5 in those games.

Tyler Seguin leads the league with 23 goals, and he's lit the lamp four times in five career games versus Edmonton. The Stars have been getting great goaltending recently from Kari Lehtonen, who has stopped 48-of-49 shots on this road trip.

"He's been great," teammate Trevor Daley said. "He's challenging the shots a lot more, he's coming out to the top of his crease. He's doing what he does."
Lehtonen has posted a miniscule 0.99 GAA, winning his last five starts at Rexall Place. The Stars aren't likely to miss an opportunity to make up ground in the standings here in Alberta tonight.

Take DAL.
