(NHL) Calgary vs. Los Angeles, 12/22/2014 5:30 PM, Score: 4 - 3
Money Line: -190.00 Los Angeles (Home)
Result: Loss
This is a 6* play on the #LAK.

The Kings have had a somewhat disappointing start to the season, but have opened a four game home-stand with back-to-back two goal wins against the Blues and the Coyotes. Most people expected the Flames to cool down after a hot start, and that has certainly happened with the visitors coming off eight consecutive losses.

Goalscoring has been the main issue for Calgary over recent games, with the team finding the net only 13 times over the extended skid. Three of those goals have come on the power play, which leaves only 10 goals on 5-versus-5 over eight hours of hockey.

Goals won't come easy tonight either as they'll be up against one of the absolute best netminders in the NHL. Jonathan Quick has been dominant at home all season long, winning 12 of his 16 starts behind a 1.71 GAA and has played exceptionally well over recent match-ups with the Flames showing a 1.40 GAA over the last 14 meetings.

The Kings do not have any offensive woes, scoring 10 goals over their last two games while going 5-for-11 on the power play. Anze Kopitar is on fire, handing out assists like he was father Christmas himself going 1+7 over the last two games.

The Flames have dropped five straight on the road, will play their second game away from home in two days and are 0-4 in their last four games playing on 1 days rest.

Take LAK.
