(NHL) St. Louis vs. Chicago, 04/05/2015 3:30 PM, Score: 2 - 1
Money Line: -145.00 Chicago (Home)
Result: Loss
This is an 8* play on the Chicago Blackhawks.

The Hawks are just two points out of first in the Central Division, and they can close that gap with a win at home against St. Louis tonight. The Blues are coming off a 7-5 win over Dallas on Friday, and it was yet another sub-par performance from Brian Elliot between the pipes. The Blues #1 goaltender had lost four straight starts before Friday, but allowing five goals on 32 shots is hardly an impressive effort for the struggling netminder. Backup Jake Allen might be the better option for the visitors here tonight. St. Louis will also be without leading scorer Vladimir Tarasenko, and Alex Steen is questionable after sitting out the last few games. Chicago is on a roll, and has won six straight home meetings with the Blues. "With them twice in the next three games, they're huge games for us," Chicago coach Joel Quenneville said. "They're four-point games with so little time to make up ground. ... We know they're meaningful.".

Take CHI.
