(MLB) Toronto vs. NY Yankees, 04/06/2015 9:05 AM, Score: 6 - 1
Point Spread: 1.50 | -165.00 Toronto (Away)
Result: Win
This is an 8* play on the Toronto Blue Jays +1.5.

The Yankees finished 12 games out of first in the AL East last season, and they haven't done a lot to convince me that they'll be any better in 2015. The lineup is made up mostly of overpriced stars that are well past their prime, and the top half of their rotation is coming off an injury riddled 2014 campaign

We'll see Masahiro Tanaka get the nod on Opening Day, and there are plenty of question marks about his velocity and durability coming off major elbow surgery. His numbers this spring were pretty encouraging all things considered, going 1-2 with a 3.07 ERA. He will be tested in his first appearance of the season though, facing a heavy hitting Jays team.

Toronto will hand the ball to 24 year old right-hander Drew Hutchison, who beat out veterans R.A. Dickey and Mark Buehrle for the top spot in the rotation. The kid had himself a helluva spring, going 3-0 with a 1.50 ERA, fanning a dozen over 18 innings.

I like the Jays as a dog on the runline, especially when you consider that the Yankees are likely to want to be conservative with Tanaka's innings. The bullpen was a sore spot this spring, and that comes as little surprise as they lost David Robertson in the off-season.

Take TOR.
