(MLB) Colorado vs. Milwaukee, 04/06/2015 10:10 AM, Score: 10 - 0
Money Line: -153.00 Milwaukee (Home)
Result: Loss
This is an 8* play on the Milwaukee Brewers.

The Colorado Rockies will start the season with a game at Milwaukee on Opening Day, and the Rockies were terrible on the road last year. They haven't exactly upgraded their pitching staff, and there no reason to expect them to be any better this season.

Kyle Kendrick will toe the slab for the visitors, and he's hardly what you would call an ace. He get's the call on Opening Day by default, with Jorge De La Rosa sidelined by a groin injury and Jhoulys Chacin sent packing in the off-season. Kendrick pitched well in the spring, but he didn't have much luck against the Brewers last year. getting rocked for seven runs on 11 hits over 5 2/3 innings in his only visit to Miller Park.

The Brewers hand the ball to Kyle Lohse, who pitched well enough last season to earn his spot at the top of the rotation. He was particularly sharp at home, going 4-3 with a 2.72 ERA. He was also far better in day games than he was under the lights, going 6-1 with a record of 6-1 with a 3.60 ERA in the afternoon.

More good news for the Brewers is that Ryan Braun is back healthy, and he's hitting .474 with a pair of homers lifetime versus Kendrick.

Take MIL.
